Job description

The Role:

As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will support the quality engineering team in managing and improving internal and supplier quality to meet our stringent manufacturing requirements. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to help drive quality improvements that directly impact the production of our pharmacy automation systems.

The iA Intern Program is a 10-week summer internship, running from, Tuesday June 1, 2027, through Friday, August 6, 2027.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in evaluating and monitoring internal and supplier quality performance through data analysis and reporting.
  • Support internal and supplier audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Help investigate internal and supplier-related quality issues and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support documentation and tracking of quality metrics related to internal and supplier quality.
  • Participate in project teams focused on enhancing quality processes within the 10-week internship timeframe.

Who you are:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with an interest in quality engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations) is a plus.

Compensation:

The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00 per hour, though a candidate's hourly rate shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
