Job Title: Administrative Assistant Intern (Unpaid)

Location: University Clinic, 8401 Medical Plaza Drive Suite 300

Job Type: Internship (Unpaid) 

Schedule: Part or Full-Time. 3–5 days per week. *Must be available on Fridays to assist our CEO with administrative tasks*. 
 

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant Intern to join our organization. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in an office setting and an opportunity to learn and develop administrative skills, as well as gain exposure to the medical and non-profit space. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the leadership team with general office administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling.
  • Assist the CEO with preparing memos, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining office supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a professional and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
