We are looking for an Program Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and has a passion for fostering connection and supporting a mission-driven workplace. This role works directly with our Behavioral Program Specialist Manager to support the operations of our Programs Department across the organization. A top candidate will display excellent communication skills, ability to multitask and knowledge how to navigate through our electronic health record system; ensuring the smooth operations for Programs.

What Youโ€™ll Do

In this role, you will serve as a pillar to our office environment while also playing a key part in building and maintaining a connected, engaged workplace. Responsibilities include:

  • Handle provider inquiries and help to maintain accurate patient records.
  • Prepare and manage clinical documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Maintain and update patient status in databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for patients within the BCCP program for the insurance provider.
  • Performing additional tasks, duties, and assignments as specified by your supervisor.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare-related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record-keeping system.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, working with providers, other admin staff, and contacts outside the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
