Full-time

Posted 8 days ago

Job description

Position Overview

Guided Behavioral Reflection Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This remote position involves working primarily with clients experiencing substance use issues within our detox center. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to foster emotional well-being, provide support, and facilitate recovery by addressing the psychosocial needs of our diverse patient population.

About the Organization

At Guided Behavioral Reflection Clinic, we are committed to delivering high-quality mental health support tailored to the individual needs of our clients. Our clinic specializes in substance use recovery, and our team consists of licensed professionals passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment. We focus on empowering our clients, especially seniors and their families, to confront and overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, and addiction. Through a holistic approach to mental health care, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to connect with clients via teletherapy while maintaining an appropriate work-life balance. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential evening and weekend hours as needed. The remote work setting requires reliable internet access and a quiet workspace conducive to therapy sessions. Given the nature of the work, on-call availability may be required to address urgent client needs outside of standard hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for clients entering the detox program, evaluating emotional, social, and psychological factors affecting their treatment.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, focusing on recovery goals and individual preferences.
  • Provide counseling and emotional support to clients navigating the complexities of detox and recovery, helping them to adjust to changes in their lives and overcome obstacles to treatment.
  • Advocate for clientsโ€™ rights and facilitate access to necessary community resources, ensuring they receive appropriate levels of support throughout their recovery journey.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance care delivery and address client needs effectively.
  • Monitor the well-being of clients through regular virtual check-ins, assessing their progress in treatment and identifying any emerging needs or safety concerns.
  • Facilitate family communication and conflict resolution to strengthen support systems surrounding the clientโ€™s recovery.
  • Educate clients and their families about community resources, support groups, and wellness programs that can further enhance their quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to best practices in social work ethics and legal standards.
  • Stay updated on current developments in social work and substance use treatment policies, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on individuals seeking detoxification from substance use, including adults and seniors facing various emotional and psychological challenges. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present unique needs, calling for a sensitive, adaptable approach to care. The clinic is particularly dedicated to providing support to older adults and their families, addressing the specific challenges they face in substance use recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in a social work role, ideally in mental health or substance abuse settings.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social work principles, particularly those related to aging populations and substance use recovery, along with an understanding of available community resources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish rapport and work effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in remote counseling or teletherapy services is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Background in crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Familiarity with treatment modalities specific to substance use and mental health, including trauma-informed care principles.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, guided support is provided for professional development opportunities, an employee assistance program, and health benefits aimed at promoting your well-being and career advancement.

Career Growth Opportunities

Guided Behavioral Reflection Clinic is dedicated to nurturing the professional growth of our staff. As a member of our team, you will have access to ongoing training and workshops, facilitating skill enhancement in areas such as addiction counseling, elder care, and crisis management. We value our employees and encourage participation in supervisory roles and specialized projects within the clinic.

Why Join Our Team

By joining Guided Behavioral Reflection Clinic, you will become part of a compassionate and dedicated team striving to make a substantial impact in the lives of clients seeking recovery and support. Our collaborative and supportive environment values innovation, feedback, and empowerment. Here, your contributions will directly influence patient outcomes and the overall success of our programs.

Application Information

If you are a motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of those struggling with substance use, we invite you to apply. Please send your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and approach to working with clients in recovery to our HR department. We look forward to welcoming you to our team!
