Experienced Financial Analyst

The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced Financial Analyst to join the team in Everett, Washington or North Charleston, South Carolina.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

This job role will work directly with our Commercial Airplane and finance leaders teams based out of North Charleston, South Carolina or Everett, Washington. The role will be responsible for cost analysis and planning to support multiple areas of the business to drive financial performance with executive business partners. Partnering with our team across all of Boeing Commercial Airplane, the individual will help with strategic investment planning, cost, material and project analysis and other finance improvements as required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Initiates assignments and leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs

  • Develops performance reports

  • Initiates assignments and leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to executive leadership

  • Makes recommendations to executive leadership on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience

  • Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost opportunities and risks

  • Leads development of financial analysis using appropriate indices, financial and business partner data

  • Provides subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determine root cause and recommend solutions

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business or related role

  • 3+ years of experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, financial or resource forecasts, and/or assessment of associated risks and opportunities

  • Work experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

  • Experience presenting and communication data in Senior Leadership briefings

  • Experience with PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Currently have a Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • Experience with material and cost analysis

  • Strong presentation skills to Senior and Executive Management

  • Strong leadership, communication, problem solving, time management, and workload prioritization skills
