About the Role

As a Data Analyst Intern at McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our business operations through data analysis and strategic insights. You will work closely with various departments and report directly to the Business Analysis Manager. Your contributions will aid in driving informed decision-making processes and optimizing business strategies.

Paid Internship

Full time / 10 weeks

Position will be based out of our Columbus, OH office

The internship program provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching

Experiential learning and training provided by exposure to subject matter experts

What You'll Do

  • Assist in analyzing and interpreting data from multiple sources to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Help develop, maintain, and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to stakeholders.
  • Support project management tasks, including documentation and progress tracking.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business strategies.
  • Assist in the implementation of business plans and strategies. -
  • Help maintain and improve data management systems.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Ability to deliver error-free reports on deadlines.
  • Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
