Job description

Laundry Aide

Location: Myers, PA

We are seeking a Laundry Aide to join our skilled nursing facility in Myers, PA.

The Laundry Aide is responsible for laundering, organizing, and distributing facility and resident personal linens while helping maintain a clean and comfortable environment for residents.

Shift: Part-Time Day Shift (16 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Follow established laundry procedures.

  • Place soiled facility and resident personal linens into washing machines.

  • Fold, hang, transport, and distribute resident personal laundry to resident rooms.

  • Hang clothing in closets and place clothing in drawers.

  • Sort, wash, dry, and organize linens and personal items.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.

  • Follow all infection control and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, cleaning, or a related field preferred.

  • Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning materials.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
