Job description

Hourly wage: $16.00 - $17.75M-F 8:00am to 4:00pm

Chrysalis is a company that provides a variety of support services for adults with intellectual disabilities.  These individuals may also have a variety of medical needs.  This position requires the ability to work in stress-filled and safety-sensitive environments, make crucial decisions in regards to the care and treatment of individuals, and possess the ability to communicate those decisions effectively to the individual's team.  

As a Day Service Professional you are a role-model, mentor and friend making a difference daily.  

Day Service Professionals Responsibilities

Day Service Professionals work hand in hand with the individuals at the Day Program and out in the community to ensure they are safe, respected, mentored and having fun while participating in activities with the individuals such as going to movies, fishing, bowling and playing games. Your main job is to create opportunities for the individuals to increase their quality of life.

Position Qualifications
  • Be able to work from 8 am to 4 pm
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form
  • Able to complete all assigned program documentation accurately and within the allotted time frames
  • Have good judgment and able to handle crisis situations
  • Have a positive attitude
