Baylor Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician to fill our full-time opening at our Inpatient Facility in Fort Worth!
Responsibilities
Seeking a rehab therapy aide to join a multi-disciplinary team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs providing care to a wide variety of patients. The successful candidate will participate in clinical care under the direction of licensed therapists in a fast moving rehab hospital setting. Duties will include providing physical assistance with therapy intervention, maintaining equipment within the department, and completing other administrative tasks.
The rehab therapy aide will also assist providing supervision for patient meals and facilitation of our Safety clubhouse Program. The rehab aide may also assist with providing transportation in company vehicles. No CDL required. A driving record check will be performed. Related experience is preferred, though training will be provided to enthusiastic applicants seeking an opportunity in the rehab setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and eagerness to serve patients as an integral member of the therapy team. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience for application to professional degree programs.
Qualifications
  • One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred.
  • BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
