Activity Aide Requirements:

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred).

As an Activity Aide, you will:

  • Facilitate ongoing group and individual activity programs based on residents’ needs, interests, and abilities, as identified in assessments and care plans.
  • Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
  • Assist in creating the activity calendar and coordinating events.
  • Follow and maintain established policies and procedures.
  • Encourage resident participation in Resident Council and schedule monthly meetings.
