ย  Position Summary

St. Gerard Majella Catholic School is seeking a caring and dependable PartTime Aftercare Aide to support the supervision and wellbeing of students in the afterschool program. This position helps create a safe, structured, and welcoming environment for children at the end of the school day. The ideal candidate enjoys working with students, demonstrates patience and responsibility, and supports the mission and values of Catholic education.

ย  Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students during aftercare hours, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
  • Assist with homework, quiet activities, and ageappropriate play.
  • Maintain attentive supervision both indoors and outdoors.
  • Support daily routines, including snack distribution, cleanup, and transitions.
  • Communicate respectfully and effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Reinforce program expectations and model appropriate behavior.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and follow established safety procedures.
  • Help create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the values of St. Gerard Majella Catholic School.
