Job Title: PM Latchkey Aide (part-time)
Reports To: Director, Operations
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Summary: Performs any combination of the following instructional tasks in classroom to assist teaching staff by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supervises students in the latchkey program.
- Maintains an organized and structure program/room for the children.
- Keeps a safe and clean environment for students and staff.
- Assists children with homework and educational activities.
- Ensures that all federal, state and local laws and regulations are met and audits are passed.
- Assist Coordinator in keeping detailed records of student payments to ensure proper accounting.
- Provides substitute coverage for other Latchkey Aides or related staff as needed.

Education, Experience & Certification:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training. Must obtain and maintain an Ohio Department of Education Educational Aide Permit and meet all Job and Family Services requirements.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.

Physical Demands: The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Peripheral vision. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
