Certified Medication Aide Position Summary:
This Certified Medication Adie will be a CNA | STNA will work under the direction of the Charge Nurse and will administer prescription medication as well as perform other duties.
This individual will maintain full knowledge of duties, responsibilities and accountability and shall act in accordance with the laws pertaining to administration of medication by a certified medication aide. The Certified Medication Aide will document in the medical record and maintain
confidentially.
Requirements for this position: A minimum of one year experience as a CNA | STNA, and completed an Ohio Board of Nursing approved Medication Aide Training Program with an active, unrestricted, Medication Aide Certification by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
