Job description

The NURSE AIDE TRAINING ACADEMY accepts applications for scholarship. This scholarship covers the cost of the program and obtaining your certification through the State of Michigan. Positions are offered upon completion of the program based off the needs of the department.

Minimum requirements include:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 17 years or older
  • Ability to physically and mentally provide care and services to short-stay rehabilitation patients and/or long-stay residents.
  • Interest in helping people and driving the company mission.
  • Able to communicate effectively to accomplish the assigned work.
  • Ability to take direction from the licensed nurse(s) overseeing patient and resident care.
  • Be able to attend every session of the Nurse Aide Training Academy without being late or missing hours.
