Lifesteps is hiring a Part-Time Day Program Aide, Substitute in the Kittanning area
Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years by "helping individuals and families with life's changing needs". The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. Position Summary:
An entry level position responsible for assisting the Senior Supervisor/Coordinator/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities, observing and reporting performance of clients in a variety of situations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
This part-time position works various days, Monday through Friday, normally with a schedule of 8:45 to 2:30. Hours can average up to 19 per week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
โ€ข High School Diploma/GED.
โ€ข Obtain and maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
โ€ข First aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain within six (6) months of hire date.
โ€ข Current driver's license with the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.
Preferred:
โ€ข One-year experience working with individuals in human services field.
โ€ข Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE).
โ€ข Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP).
โ€ข Associates Degree and six months to one-year experience.
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree.
โ€ข Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
