Program Aide
PAY RATE: $11.53 Hourly
Join the Head Start teaching team in a teacher assistant type position in facilitating many classroom activities such as field trips, lesson planning, and classroom maintenance. This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of the Head Start classroom and start a career track to becoming a Head Start Teacher. This position may also assist in the kitchen, bus, or other areas of operation. As a minimum requirement, the applicant must be 18 years of age. This is an entry-level position requiring no previous education or experience unless there is a local or state regulation that requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Some states may require additional requirements for kitchen aide duties (i.e., Safe Serve).
