Chesapeake Fire Protection is looking for a Service Account Manager to support our customers, coordinate service activities, and help identify opportunities to expand our services. This role works closely with customers and internal teams to keep inspections, repairs, and service moving smoothly and on schedule.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as a primary contact for assigned customer accounts and build strong, professional relationships.
  • Establish post-sales relationships to support inspection, testing, and maintenance services.
  • Review customer requirements and coordinate inspection dispatches, including third-party and compliance needs.
  • Monitor inspection schedules to ensure dispatches are completed, updated, or modified as needed.
  • Prepare deficiency repair proposals, create and dispatch work orders, and communicate repair timelines.
  • Follow up after inspections to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional service opportunities.
  • Respond to customer questions regarding billing, pricing, inspection results, and account needs.
  • Partner with Service, Operations, and Billing teams to ensure accurate documentation and efficient service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of account management, customer service, or related experience.
  • Fire protection or technical services experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

The Job
  • Primarily office-based with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 10 lbs.
  • Requires close vision for computer and office work.
