Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Work with Sales leaders to develop and implement pricing strategies aligned to market trends
  • Manage Pricing Analyst position
  • Monitor all pricing administration systems & processes including:
    • Customer price files, distributor rebate program, quotes, promotional programs, inter-company pricing & customer price increases
  • Instill discipline in our processes to ensure price files are accurate and price changes are approved per company guidelines
  • Review pricing disputes and take corrective actions to prevent future issues
  • Collaborate with business leaders to:
    • Modernize pricing systems and processes to maximize profitability
    • Automate routine price administration tasks and report generation
    • Collaborate with business leaders on the design of BI solutions aimed at providing self-serve analytics tools
  • Conduct ad-hoc profitability analysis of customers and products to identify revenue generating opportunities
  • Provide sales and profitability reports to management as needed
  • Work with all business functions and our customer base on issues/topics related to pricing and rebates
  • Support special projects as needed

Qualifications:
  • A. / B.S. with a concentration in mathematics, statistics, finance or economics and preferably will have an MBA.
  • Significant experience, leadership and insight expected in one or more of the following:
    • Pricing, statistics, mathematics, marketing, product management, corporate finance or strategy
  • Proficiency with advanced Excel functions
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (preferably QlikView)
  • Given the complexity of Formica's product and pricing mechanisms, the ability to manage complex data sets is critical.
