Plant Operations Specialist

Monday-Friday 1st shift

Rx Systems, Inc. is seeking a Plant Operations Specialist to support our production facility.

Job Summary

Support management and plant personnel with any and all issues related to data collection including inventory control. Trains, teaches, and lends support for all plant operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Trains New Hires in Auto Count.
  • Monitors and Maintains accuracy of information within the Radius System.
  • Create and maintain training materials for Auto Count.
  • Maintains operational data.
  • Conducts periodic finished goods and inventory counts.
  • Reviews labor and data accuracy daily.
  • Maintain daily output production numbers.
  • Able to work other shifts for training purposes as required.
  • Helps to ensure continuity during supervisor's absence.
  • Any other duties determined by management.
  • Attendance on-site required

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Education and Experience: Prefer high school education or a GED.

Language skills: Must be able to read, speak and comprehend English.

Other: Must be able to use a calculator and understand concepts of basic math. Computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Plant Manager, PSA and Radius is a must. Must be proficient at communication with all employees including hourly and management personnel. Must have outstanding organizational skills.

Physical demands

  • Must be able to push, pull, kneel, reach, sit, hear, walk and see.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours at the time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a random basis.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Employees may feel vibration from machinery. Noise levels are required PPE levels on machinery, ear plugs or earmuffs required. No other negatives noted.
