Job description

Position Title: FT Server

Salary: $13 hourly; $1/hr shift differentials for weekend hours

Schedule: Varies; need availability to work evenings until 7:30pm and weekends

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Senior Living community experience is preferred.
  • Fine dining experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand/walk for 100% of the work day (4-8-hour shift).
  • Ability to independently life, balance, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to access and navigate full campus.
  • Ability to function efficiently despite distractions and interruptions.

General Summary:

The FT Server Associate position is responsible for the following:  table service before, during, and after meals in the GCV dining rooms; general cleaning duties; storing food & non-food supplies; and other duties as assigned. Insures that quality service is provided to the residents and their guests at all times; may serve as mentor and trainer for part-time wait staff in a positive manner.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Maintains safe, sanitary, and orderly conditions in all work areas; promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents and staff at all times.
  • Cleans and sanitizes equipment, floors, work surfaces, and other work areas according to specified cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • Creates an enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests.
  • May supervise the opening and closing of dining rooms; checks to be sure side work and station set-up and break-down are properly completed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
