Company Description Nassau Tennis & Sports Center is a tennis and sports facility based at 73 De Sibio Place in Inwood, New York, United States. The center provides local community members with access to tennis courts, coaching, and recreational programs in a welcoming environment. It focuses on promoting active lifestyles and skill development for players of various ages and ability levels. Prospective team members join a setting centered on sportsmanship, player growth, and quality service.
Role Description The Tennis Professional is a full-time, on-site role located in Inwood, NY. This role involves delivering private and group tennis instruction to players of all ages and skill levels, including juniors, adults, and recreational players. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and running clinics, drills, and practice sessions; assessing player abilities; creating progressive lesson plans; and providing clear feedback to support technical and tactical improvement. The Tennis Professional will also help monitor and maintain court conditions, support organized matches and events, and collaborate with staff to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive experience for all participants. Additional duties include basic customer service such as answering player inquiries, assisting with scheduling, and promoting programs offered by the center.
