Job description

Our Practice Solutions team leads the Firm's innovation initiatives, supporting our lawyers in client delivery excellence. The team has deep expertise in working with established and emerging technologies, data analytics and data science, knowledge solutions and process re-engineering. The Practice Solutions team works with our lawyers to identify innovative solutions to support our clients. Through fostering a Firmwide culture of innovation, we encourage our lawyers to think creatively about how to deliver the best value to our clients and we ensure that White & Case remains at the forefront of advancements in the legal industry.
The Professional Support Legal Assistant (PSLA) assists and coordinates the training programs organized by the Firm's Professional Support Lawyers (PSLs) in the Americas, under the direction of a designated PSL. The PSLA also supports the PSL team with day-to-day tasks and larger initiatives. Together with general support and ownership of legal initiatives, the PSLA owns the end-to-end logistics of training sessions (scheduling and booking, day-of execution, and post-session follow-up) and maintains training records and materials in the Firm's learning management system.

Our work ranges from helping the Firm leverage the latest legal, client, and market knowledge to providing front-line
support for legal teams in their client work. The Practice Solutions function is under the leadership of the Chief Innovation Officer and comprises five
teams: Professional Support, Research & Market Intelligence, Practice Technology, Business Intelligence, and Innovation and AI. Our professionals use information management, research, data, technology, and training solutions to help our lawyers work efficiently and collaboratively for the benefit of
our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage the Americas PSL training calendar and schedule sessions in coordination with PSLs and speakers
• Support the PSL team in AI and innovation projects, including but not limited to AI rollout and development of ongoing resources, and transitions to new systems such as Workday Learning
• Assist PSLs with maintaining knowledge resources on Connect and internal databases
• Track completion of key practice documents and assist in maintaining practice notes and standard forms
• Participate in Americas and Global Professional Support meetings and share best practices with other PSLs and PSLAs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Research, Practice Technology, Learning & Development, AV, Concierge, and Technology teams
Qualifications
• College graduate
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
• Experience coordinating training, events, or programs in a professional services environment; experience in legal training or learning and development is a plus
• Experience with learning management systems preferred
• Self-motivated and flexible with the ability to work independently and collaboratively; willing to take on new projects and learn new skills
• Excellent IT skills, especially MS Office and document management systems
• A working understanding of law firms

• This role is based in our New York office
• This role is in the Practice Solutions department and reports to the Americas Professional Support lawyers
The New York salary range for this role is $60,800 - $83,600
