As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring, people-first culture while working collaboratively with the team, acting with integrity, and demonstrating the agile, reliable, and innovative approach of Allied Universal.

Position Type: Part Time / Day Shift Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 10:30 AM - 07:00 PM Sat 10:30 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 10:30 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with personnel and visitors and supporting compliance with site access and security-related requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
