As part of our Outpatient Office setup, you will engage in virtual therapy sessions, utilizing digital tools and resources to connect with clients in a meaningful way. • Maintain thorough documentation and records of client interactions, including accurate notations and timely reporting of necessary information, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Support clients in achieving their daily living goals through practical assistance in crucial areas such as shopping, meal planning, and cooking while encouraging their independence.
• Deliver medication reminders and assistance, ensuring adherence and appropriate management of prescribed medications in line with treatment plans.
• Provide necessary transportation for clients to appointments and community resources, while also educating them on navigating public transportation systems.
• Monitor client well-being by observing their mood and behavior, reporting any significant changes, and implementing safety protocols as required by agency standards.
• Facilitate and encourage positive social interactions through group and individual activities aligned with clients' treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance communication and share insights about client progress and challenges.
• Uphold ethical and legal standards applicable to mental health practice, ensuring all activities meet regulatory requirements.

This role primarily serves a diverse group of clients, including adolescents and young adults facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. The counselor will adopt a holistic approach, taking into account each individual’s cultural background and personal experiences to foster an inclusive therapeutic environment.

• Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field such as counseling, social work, or psychology.
• A current and unrestricted state license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC. Note: Applicants with associate licenses cannot be considered due to billing regulations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• A strong sense of autonomy, self-direction, and the capacity to work effectively without constant supervision.

• Experience working with geriatric populations is a plus.
• Proven track record in managing a diverse caseload while adapting to a fast-paced work environment.
• Prior experience in outpatient settings or community mental health services is highly desirable.
