Responsibilities
  • The Agile Transformation Lead/Scrum Master Lead will serve as the primary agile methodology expert and coach across all project teams, ensuring consistent implementation of Scrum practices and driving continuous improvement in agile delivery.
  • This position is critical to maintaining alignment between teams, optimizing cross-team collaboration, and ensuring that agile principles are effectively applied to both cloud modernization and legacy system maintenance efforts.
  • The individual will establish and maintain the program's agile framework, mentor team-level scrum masters, facilitate program-level ceremonies, and work closely with government stakeholders to ensure agile practices support mission objectives and deliver measurable value.
Required Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of experience leading agile teams in federal or commercial environments, with at least 3 years specifically in multi-team program settings
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience scaling agile practices across 8+ concurrent teams with 100+ total team members
  • Proven track record implementing agile methodologies in mixed environments including both cloud-native development and legacy system maintenance
  • Experience with AWS cloud environments and understanding of DevOps practices to effectively guide teams in CI/CD pipeline development and automated testing strategies
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills with ability to conduct training, mentor junior scrum masters, and facilitate program-level PI planning, product roadmapping and retrospectives
