Professional Scrum Jobs in Michigan (NOW HIRING)

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master for our client in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

***This is ON-SITE requirement (Monday- Thursday)***

Seeking a Scrum Master to support delivery for a complex enterprise business capability involving data, reporting, analytics, downstream application use, and future business interpretation. The work may include areas such as performance measurement, sales-related data, organizational activity, enterprise workflows, and achievement-based outcomes.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Agile leader who can help teams execute effectively, manage ambiguity, remove obstacles, and work across business, product, technology, and data stakeholders. Experience supporting enterprise data, reporting, analytics, or cross-functional technology initiatives is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

·   Lead Agile delivery using Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid Agile practices.

·   Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and related team ceremonies.

·   Help clarify goals, scope, priorities, risks, dependencies, and delivery expectations.

·   Partner with product owners, business analysts, architects, developers, quality assurance resources, data teams, and stakeholders.

·   Remove impediments, manage cross-team dependencies, and protect the team from unnecessary disruption.

·   Support backlog readiness by helping convert business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery outcomes.

·   Coordinate work involving enterprise data, reporting, analytics, downstream systems, and related application capabilities.

·   Promote transparency, continuous improvement, Agile maturity, quality, and delivery accountability.

·   Identify delivery risks early and help drive practical resolution.

Required Skills

·   Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

·   Demonstrated experience supporting full-cycle Agile delivery teams.

·   Strong ability to manage ambiguity in enterprise technology environments.

·   Experience removing blockers, resolving conflicts, and improving team execution.

·   Understanding of Agile principles, Lean Software Development, Scrum, Kanban, and continuous improvement practices.

·   Ability to quickly learn a business domain and connect delivery work to business value.

·   Experience working with distributed or global teams.

·   Ability to coordinate across multiple systems, teams, and stakeholder groups.

Preferred Skills

·   Experience supporting enterprise data, reporting, analytics, workflow, or platform-related initiatives.

·   Familiarity with performance measurement, sales-related data, organizational activity, or achievement-based programs.

·   Experience working with downstream application use, data interpretation, or enterprise information models.

·   Familiarity with product management practices in Agile environments.

·   Experience with user stories, Agile estimation, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement.

·   Knowledge of Agile engineering practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), SOLID principles, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), INVEST criteria, and quality-first delivery.

·   Scrum of Scrums or other cross-team coordination experience.

·   Experience in large enterprise environments.

Qualifications

·   Scrum Master certification preferred, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I).

·   Coaching credential, such as International Coaching Federation (ICF), is optional.

·   Prior experience as a Senior Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Agile Coach, or similar role preferred.
