Job Title: Youth Flag Football Official / Referee

Location: Alexandria, MN

Organization: DASH Sports

Compensation: $30 per game (Paid directly via Venmo)

Job Type: Part-Time / Seasonal (Saturdays)


Position Overview

DASH Sports is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Flag Football Officials to manage games for our NFL Flag Football Mini League in Alexandria!

We focus on creating a positive, safe, and fun environment for young athletes to develop their skills and learn the values of Respect, Hustle, and Pride. As an official, you will manage game flow, enforce basic rules, ensure player safety, and encourage great sportsmanship.


Schedule & Dates
  • Duration: 4 consecutive Saturdays starting September 19th

  • Note on First Week: No refs are needed on Week 1 (September 12th), as it is a dedicated practice/skills day for players.

  • Ref Start Date: Saturday, September 19th

  • Game Days: Sept 19, Sept 26, Oct 3, Oct 10


Key Responsibilities
  • Officiate youth flag football games, maintaining fair play, safety, and a positive atmosphere.

  • Manage game timing, keep score, and enforce NFL Flag Football rules appropriate for youth age divisions.

  • Clearly communicate calls and rules to young players in an educational and supportive manner.

  • Help keep games running on schedule.

  • Model good sportsmanship and maintain a professional demeanor with coaches, players, and parents.


Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of flag football or tackle football rules.

  • Experience officiating, coaching, playing sports, or working with youth is preferred.
