Engineering Analyst - Houston, TX
LOCATION: Houston - Texas - USA
DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERING
Purpose
Applies technologies in their area of specialization to support basic engineering and project execution activities. Supports planning, development, and implementation of assigned projects or project components. Ensures compliance with Tenaris engineering standards, policies, and safety requirements during execution.
Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, budget estimates, and schedules for assigned projects or project components.
  • Participate in and validate engineering development related to assigned projects.
  • Monitor and control project budget and schedule within the area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate installation, commissioning, and deployment activities for assigned projects or project components.
  • Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, quality, and other functions to support effective project execution.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 0-3 years of experience in engineering, project support, manufacturing, or industrial environments (internships or co-op experience applicable).
  • Foundational to intermediate technical knowledge in a specific engineering specialty (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, or related).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of basic project management concepts.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve engineering problems with guidance.
