Summary
As a Professional Programmer Analyst at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. You will use your programming and analytical skills to drive the development of healthcare administration products used, and relied upon, by millions of patients. Your role in our mission
Take a close look at some of the details that contribute to Gainwell's industry-leading tools and technologies in this challenging position.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions to build Requirement Specification and Design Documents that support the business needs.
  • Prepare time estimates and justifications for assigned tasks.
  • Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately-complex to complex technical programs.
  • Provide on-call support, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis to ensure system stability and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in and conduct peer reviews as needed.
  • Evaluate existing systems and programs to recommend potential enhancements.
  • Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements, and identify/address issues that may arise.

What we're looking for
  • 4+ years of experience working on Application Development Projects and working with Relational Databases.
  • 3+ years of experience working with C Programming experience and working with Unix or Linux Environment.
  • Expertise in Batch Job Automation and Notification Services.
  • Experience in Writing Specifications and Design Documentation, including the use of UML Diagrams.
  • Healthcare/Medicaid work experience is a plus.

  • Opportunities to travel up to 10%

The pay range for this position is $58,200.00 - $83,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
