Bison Transport partners with professional Owner-Operators who wantconsistent miles, predictable revenue, and a stablelong-termcarrierpartnership. Our establishedcross-bordernetwork and operational support allow you to focus on running and growing your business, while we handle the complexity of managing customer freight.Bison Transport also protects Owner-Operators from fluctuations in fuel pricing with an industry leading Fuel Offset program based on 2007 diesel pricing.

Compliance Reminder:Bison completes routine audits to ensure the "Driver Inc." model is not being used.

Program Highlights

  • Team and Single driver opportunities available
  • Team Units average 20,000 miles per month
  • Single Units average12,000 milesper month
  • Operate under Bison's authority(no personal authorityrequired)
  • Owners must have their own WCB account
  • Cross-border freight with consistent planning
  • Tractors must be available for dispatch24 daysper month
  • Tractors must beequipped with a working DEFsystem
  • Demonstrated commitment tosafety and compliance

To qualify drivers of the units must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of24 monthstractor-trailerexperience
  • Eligible to enter the U.S.
  • Must be able to drive Highways 1 & 3 in B.C
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. Driving experience
  • ValidClass 1 / AZlicense
  • Must be able tolift 50lb. or more(driver assistfreightrequiredon occasion)
  • Reliable, flexible, punctual, and professional
  • Strong communicationskills
  • Demonstrated commitment tosafety and compliance
