Position Description:

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Water Team in Omaha. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and 15 to 20 years of related experience. A Professional Engineer license is also required. The candidate should have experience working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Revit. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.
Typical responsibilities include:
  • Provide project management, technical planning, design and construction support on various stormwater, water and wastewater treatment and collection system projectsย 
  • Actively participate in improving Wade Trim's visibility and brandย 
  • Prepare engineering calculations and supporting analysis of alternativesย 
  • Develop and complete applications, permits, engineering reports and specificationsย 
  • Prepare and review engineer estimatesย 
  • Prepare design cost estimatesย 
  • Conduct research and development for projects
  • Monitor task budget and progressย 
  • Prepare project status and other reportsย 
  • Communicate project details with other design engineersย 
  • Conduct project cost reviewsย 
  • Promote sales
  • Prepare and review scope, budget and schedule for project tasksย 
  • Assist with proposals, marketing, project reports and technical presentationsย 
  • Conduct on-site inspections as neededย 
  • Attend and/or conduct client and project meetingsย 
  • Attend various meetings including pre-design, plan review, pre-construction, professional organization, staff, etc.ย 
  • Attend seminars and/or training classesย 
  • Maintain excellent client relationsย

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Skills/Experience:
  • 15-20 years of experience
