Compensation, schedule, guaranteed hours, and employment terms are negotiated directly between the nanny and the family prior to hire.

Matron of Familyhood facilitates introductions but does not supervise or employ nannies after placement.


Trial Period

Many families begin with a mutually agreed, paid trial period to assess fit and expectations. Trial terms are negotiated directly between the nanny and family.


Ongoing Support

While families are the direct employer, Matron of Familyhood remains available to facilitate professional communication and support stable, long-term working relationships.


Screening Process

Our screening process may include application review, interviews, professional reference checks, and background screening conducted with candidate consent and in accordance with applicable law. Final hiring decisions are made solely by the family.
