About the job
As a Valuation Professional at , you will conduct comprehensive financial analyses
and valuations of businesses across various industries, utilizing advanced financial
modeling techniques to determine a company's value, primarily for purposes like
mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, litigation support, and shareholder
disputes. You will assist in the coordination and management of valuation projects,
prepare detailed reports, present findings to clients, and stay abreast of industry
trends and regulatory changes to ensure accurate valuation assessments. If

Duties & Responsibilities
Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements, cash flows, and other relevant data
to build complex financial models for valuation purposes, including discounted cash
flow (DCF) analysis, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction
analysis.
Assist in the development of detailed valuation reports outlining methodology, key
assumptions, and conclusions, including supporting documentation and data analysis
to justify the valuation.
Participate in client meetings to gather information, discuss valuation methodologies,
present findings, and address any concerns regarding the valuation process.
Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitor analysis,
and relevant economic factors impacting valuation.
Participate in due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions, reviewing
financial data and providing valuation insights to support transaction structuring.
Assist with legal proceedings by preparing valuation reports and providing expert
testimony when required.
Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, valuation concepts, and industry best
practices to ensure compliance.
Participate in new business development activities including involvement in relevant
industry and professional associations and development and maintenance of client and
referral source relationships.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (with an emphasis in finance, economics, mathematics, or
accounting preferred).
Minimum of 5+ years professional experience in business valuation or a related field.
Advanced knowledge of business valuation theory, economics, and principles of
financial accounting.
Strong analytical skills to interpret financial statements, identify key financial metrics,
and assess business performance.
Outstanding writing, quantitative, and communication skills are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S., without employer sponsorship, at the time of hire
and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
CFA, CPA, ASA, ABV, or other similar professional designations.
Experience with Excel modeling preferred.
Experience with Crystal Ball, CaseWare and/or Suralink a plus.
