The 700 Club – Virginia Beach, VA

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), a leader in Christian media, is looking for a professional Make-up Artist in Virginia Beach, VA to join our team. This is an opportunity for an experienced Artist to use their skills to design and apply makeup for on-air talent. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to CBN’s Biblical mission to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide.

This position is an on-call position with early morning, flexible hours. The salary range for this position is $20-$25 per hour. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on a combination of education, relevant experience, and demonstrated skills aligned with the role requirements.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a make-up artist
  • Strong working knowledge of makeup design and application
  • Ability to effectively work with on-camera talent
  • Strong ability to work well under the pressures of live TV with daily and hourly deadlines.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff, and outside public
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Ability to work well under pressure and consistently deadlines
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including very early mornings
  • Good manual dexterity with ability to stand for extended periods of time
