Job description

GENERAL PURPOSE

Organize, coordinate, and support the delivery of training programs. Work with the training team and various departments to ensure all training activities are effectively planned, executed, and evaluated. Collect and gather criteria data for evaluating effectiveness of training programs and ensure they meet organizational requirements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and schedule training sessions, workshops, and seminars

Coordinate logistics for training events, venue selection, material preparation, and technology setup

Ensure training programs are delivered on time and within budget

Maintain accurate and organized training records, attendance, completion rates, and feedback

Prepare and distribute training materials, handouts, manuals, and multimedia content

Maintain and ensure the learning management system (LMS) or appropriate database is updated with current training programs and materials

Work with managers to identify training needs and schedule appropriate sessions

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs

Collect and review feedback from participants and stakeholders

Recommend and implement improvements to training programs and processes

Ensure training equipment is well-maintained and available for use

Order and manage inventory of training supplies and materials

Coordinate with external vendors and training providers

Document training processes and best practices

Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in training and development

Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and expand expertise

Contribute to the development of new training initiatives and programs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent

2 to 4 years of training support, training, or related experience

Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems

Knowledge of LMS and other training technologies

Knowledge of principles and practices of training

Knowledge of training task analysis and assessments

Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

Able to respond courteously and efficiently to inquiries, complaints, and requests

Able to provide effective and tactful communication skills with all levels of the organization

Able to work with accuracy and detail oriented

Able to work independently or within a team

Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Able to take initiative with minimal direct supervision

Skill in technical writing and editing

Must be able to read, write and speak English
