Role Overview:
The Sales Professional is a highly engaged seller who is equipped to take care of Dover Street Los Angeles clientele. This person's number one priority is to maximize sales and build long-term, high value relationships. The Sales Professional is a fashion authority and skilled seller and serves as a key store resource for our clients. Our Sales Professionals provide the highest level of service to clients, assisting them throughout the store with all personal needs. In partnership with the Store Manager, the Sales Professional builds community and personal relationships that drive good will and volume.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a customer-centric mentality while maximizing sales and building long-term, high value relationships
  • Demonstrates expert styling and brand knowledge
  • Achieve personal sales, clientele goals as well as contribute to increasing the store's overall conversion on a daily basis.
  • Strategize own business to increase individual productivity through styling and successful outreach
  • Maintaining a Customer Book of key clients and VIP's
  • Participate in operational responsibilities including deliveries, opening and closing procedures, replenishment and store FOH & BOH standards.

Key Skills:
  • A highly motivated and competent individual able to converse at all levels both internally and externally with staff and clientele.
  • A self-starter able to set the standard by their own professionalism and attitude.
  • Structured and organized but nonetheless be approachable and have a flexible outlook.
  • Willingness to work hard and always have the intention to drive the business forward.
  • Being able to work on several tasks at a time.
  • Be capable to work to deadlines / ability to prioritize / optimal time management.

Key Requirements:
  • Retail sales and expertise within a luxury business for at least 1-2 years
  • Specific understanding of the Comme des Garcons, aesthetic, consumer and sub-brands. Previous experience in selling CDG brands beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays. Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality is required.
