Position Details

Job Title Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)
Hourly Wage $18 - $21 per hour
Location Current Openings in: Fremont, San Leandro, Livermore, and Berkeley

Responsibilities Include

  • Providing personal care, which may involve assisting individuals with changing diapers, showering, and using equipment like a Hoyer lift for mobility support.
  • Assisting with activities of daily living to promote independence.
  • Maintaining increased or line-of-sight supervision for safety and support.
  • Supporting individuals in participating in community activities and fostering safe behaviors.
  • Helping individuals with enhanced behavioral needs and structured routines.
  • Safely transporting individuals to appointments, activities, or other destinations as needed.
Qualifications

  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in caregiving or similar roles (training available for dedicated candidates).
  • Eligible to work in the caregiving field.
  • Clean driving record and car insurance. 
  • Ability to stay focused and complete assigned tasks effectively.
  • Strong team collaboration and ability to follow care plans.
  • Willingness to work with individuals with minor behaviors
  • CPR First Aid Training, TB Test, Fingerprints Required
