Job description

CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Visual Designer position for our client.
Location: Morrisville, NC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week
Duration: 2+ years, with possibility for extension
Duties:
  • Develop original creative concepts for product launches, marketing campaigns, thought leadership, and other business initiatives.
  • Translate creative briefs and business objectives into compelling visual concepts and polished design deliverables.
  • Create visual assets for product marketing, sales enablement, digital experiences, customer stories, demand-generation campaigns, executive communications, and brand programs.
  • Design presentations, digital assets, social media graphics, infographics, campaign materials, and reusable templates.
  • Simplify complex technical concepts through clear, engaging visual storytelling and information design.
  • Collaborate with writers, product marketers, campaign teams, and creative leadership from initial concept through final execution.
  • Present creative concepts and explain design decisions to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain brand consistency across channels, business units, campaigns, and geographic regions.
  • Develop reusable templates, design systems, and scalable creative solutions that improve consistency and production efficiency.
  • Prepare production-ready and localization-ready design files that meet technical and brand requirements.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining deadlines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Participate in onsite creative collaboration, stakeholder meetings, and project reviews at the Morrisville office.

Skills:
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles, including typography, layout, composition, color theory, hierarchy, and brand systems.
  • Ability to transform business and technical concepts into clear, engaging visual communications.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Proficiency with Figma or a comparable collaborative design platform.
  • Strong presentation-design skills, including experience with Microsoft PowerPoint or similar tools.
  • Experience creating digital marketing assets, presentations, social media graphics, infographics, and campaign materials.
  • Knowledge of design systems, reusable templates, and scalable creative processes.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to receive feedback, incorporate revisions, and clearly explain creative decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on creative quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Experience designing motion graphics or working with Adobe After Effects preferred.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in visual design, graphic design, marketing design, digital design, or a related creative field.
  • Proven experience developing creative concepts from initial briefs through final execution.
  • Experience creating work for product marketing, technology, B2B, or enterprise-focused initiatives preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, product, campaign, and creative stakeholders.
  • Experience designing for multiple channels, audiences, and content formats.
  • Experience developing reusable templates, design systems, or other scalable creative resources preferred.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong visual storytelling, typography, presentation design, brand application, and digital design work is required.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Design, Marketing Design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
