Summary

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administrator & Developer is responsible for the administration, configuration, customization, development, support, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. This position partners with business departments to optimize business processes, automate workflows, develop custom applications, and integrate Dynamics with other enterprise systems.

This job operates in our San Antonio office. This position travels up to 25% of the time, including to the SCI annual convention, site visits, Board Meetings, and any other trade shows or events of interest to or supported by Sporting Conservation International.

All applicants should demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, hunting as an essential part of biologically sound and ethically responsible international wildlife management. The ideal candidate will have an existing knowledge of SCI’s current programs and mission and be passionate about hunter’s rights.

Responsibilities

Microsoft Dynamics Administration
  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.
  • Configure tables, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, and business process flows.
  • Manage user accounts, security roles, business units, and permissions.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Perform system updates, solution deployments, and environment management.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and configuration standards.
Application Development
  • Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Develop custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Create and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Develop custom plug-ins, JavaScript, and business logic as needed.
  • Build model-driven and canvas applications to support departmental needs.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Power BI.
System Integration
  • Design and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and internal or third-party systems.
  • Develop and maintain REST API integrations.
  • Support integrations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure services, finance systems, membership applications, websites, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Assist with data migration and synchronization projects.
Data Management
  • Import, export, validate, and cleanse data.
  • Develop duplicate detection and data quality processes.
  • Maintain data integrity across multiple systems.
  • Support ongoing CRM data governance initiatives.
User Support
  • Provide Tier II and Tier III support for Dynamics users.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and resolve technical problems.
  • Create user documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct end-user training and assist with change management activities.
Business Process Improvement
  • Meet with business units to understand operational requirements.
  • Recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
  • Assist departments in leveraging Microsoft technologies to achieve organizational goals.
Project Participation
  • Participate in CRM implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Assist with testing, deployment, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Coordinate with software vendors and implementation partners.
  • Support project planning, timelines, and technical documentation.
Security & Governance
  • Maintain CRM security and compliance standards.
  • Implement role-based security and least-privilege access.
  • Monitor system audit logs and application health.
  • Support governance of the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. Attends meetings, annual and other conventions and trade shows as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Experience developing Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform administration.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications using APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
  • Experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and Azure Functions.
  • Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience implementing enterprise CRM systems.
  • Experience supporting nonprofit, membership, or association management organizations.
