Job description

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the efficient operation of Flexaust machines
2. Tracking of pieces produced
3. Inspecting final products for quality
4. Work areas must be kept safe, clean, and organized
Working Conditions:
Manufacturing plant; will be required to wear personal protective equipment per policy and may be requested to work overtime per production schedule.
Qualifications:
1. Must be able to lift 55 pounds consistently.
2. The ability to read and write in English.
3. A thorough knowledge of Flexaust product lines and construction requirements.
4. Capability of meeting production standards and exceeding established standards on occasion during normal production runs.
5. Maintain records of material used and machine conditions.
6. Basic tape reading knowledge.
Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
1. Understands and operates Flexaust hose machines and downstream equipment for production and quality of the product manufactured. Includes 1st article inspection and audit sheets.
2. Responsible for maintenance and general condition of machine and equipment in area. Completion of work request forms if needed.
3. Responsible for correct reporting of labor and materials used in production as well as footage of product manufactured.
4. Responsible for maintaining open communications with supervisor regarding condition of equipment, quality of raw materials, and product produced.
5. Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.
6. Responsible for housekeeping and organization of your area and related areas in department.
7. Responsible for correct packaging of all products.
8. Performs any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management as required.
