Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Financial Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in San Juan, PR within the medical devices and supplies industry. This role is ideal for an accounting and finance professional who enjoys month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet analysis, and supporting accurate decision-making across commercial business units.
The Financial Analyst will work closely with senior finance team members and cross-functional departments in a stable, compliance-driven environment. This opportunity offers exposure to corporate financial reporting, inventory and accounts receivable reserves, cash monitoring, fixed assets, and operational finance metrics. Candidates who value teamwork, supportive leadership, process discipline, and career growth within a professional finance organization will find this role highly engaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and support monthly accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, amortizations, reclassifications, adjustments, and month-end close tasks.
- Assist with monthly financial statement reporting submitted to corporate in accordance with GAAP and corporate financial guidelines.
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate variances, and complete required account maintenance.
- Perform inventory reserve analysis, accounts receivable reserve analysis, expense reporting analysis, DSO and DOH reporting, and related financial analysis.
- Monitor daily cash movement, support cash transfer reporting, and coordinate information with the Credit Department.
- Support commercial divisions and Caribbean operations with timely financial reporting, fixed asset entries, payroll tax check requests, and professional services withholding analysis.
Compensation and Benefits
- Contract Position.
- Compensation: $21.63 per hour.
- Exempt position.
- Schedule: 1st shift, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Location: San Juan, PR.
