Join Audix – Build Products Used by Audio Professionals Around the World

At Audix, we design and manufacture professional audio products known for quality, reliability, and performance. Our products are used by musicians, audio engineers, broadcasters, production professionals, and content creators around the world.

We are looking for an experienced Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Wilsonville, Oregon. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys detailed work, takes pride in quality, and is comfortable working with small mechanical and electronic components.

In this position, you will assemble finished products and subassemblies of moderate complexity while following established work instructions and quality standards. You may also assist with product testing, rework, and training other team members.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform mechanical and electronic assembly of subassemblies and finished products.

  • Follow work orders, production drawings, sample assemblies, written instructions, and verbal direction.

  • Solder lead wires and perform cleaning, tinning, and finishing work on components.

  • Perform product testing to ensure products meet Audix quality and performance standards.

  • Conduct vocal and sound testing to evaluate product quality.

  • Perform frequency-response testing using a Loudspeaker Measurement System (LMS) or similar equipment.

  • Monitor sound feeds and identify potential performance or quality issues.

  • Perform laser marking of finished products.

  • Inspect parts, subassemblies, and completed products for defects.

  • Perform quality-control testing according to established company standards.

  • Rework finished products when necessary and assist the Service team with rework as needed.

  • Accurately complete production logs and other required documentation.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Assist with training other Assemblers as needed.

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking ForRequired Skills
  • Ability to work with and assemble small, detailed components with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to safely operate hand tools and manufacturing equipment.

  • Ability to identify product or assembly problems and help determine appropriate solutions.

  • Ability to visually identify defects in components and finished products.

  • Ability to read, understand, and consistently follow detailed work instructions.

  • Effective verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to accurately complete production records and data sheets.

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations as needed.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate a PC.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a manufacturing team.

Preferred Skills
  • Previous electronic or electromechanical assembly experience.

  • Soldering experience.

  • Experience performing product testing or quality-control inspections.

  • Experience working with audio products or sound-testing equipment.

  • Familiarity with Audix components, subassemblies, manufacturing processes, or products.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of two years of similar experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Experience with electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly is highly desirable.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This is a hands-on manufacturing position. While performing the duties of this role, employees may be required to:

  • Sit or stand for extended periods.

  • Regularly manipulate small objects, tools, equipment, and controls.

  • Walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or perform similar movements as needed.

  • Lift up to 30 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.

  • Perform detailed work requiring close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, focusing ability, and the ability to distinguish colors.

  • Hear and differentiate sounds when performing product testing or assisting with employee training.

  • Work around moving mechanical equipment and manufacturing materials.

  • Work in areas where fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals may be present.

  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
