Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Job description:

We're looking for a hands-on Cosmetology Instructor to join our team!

The ideal candidate has a passion for educating, motivating, mentoring, and coaching Future Cosmetology Professionals. The primary responsibility of the instructor is to manage and lead their students to graduation through a positive classroom environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform an active lesson and lecture, encourage student learning, participation, and engagement
  • Grade and review assignments, quizzes, & exams
  • Perform effective classroom management and ensure student compliance with school rules and regulations
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures
  • Passing grades on State Board/Licensure examinations and student licensure rates
  • Retention rates and student satisfaction
  • Complete other assigned duties, as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Highly organized and professional
  • Strong customer service skills and administrative skills
  • Ability to ensure compliance with all governmental regulations.
  • Minimum of three years field experience required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • State Cosmetology license is required.
  • PA Instructor's license is required.
