The Opportunity

To seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. In addition, you will also be responsible for securing viable and profitable accounts for the Company in an assigned territory.
To be successful in this role٫ you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales targets. To do this, you have used a variety of communication methods including networking, cold calling, emailing, and social selling to connect with potential prospects and cultivate strong relationships.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Regional Operations, the Business Development Representative will be responsible for:

  • Achieve their sales quota and sets a personal quota which should exceed the Company’s standard
  • Develop and maintain target account system for major prospective clients,
  • Ensure that all goods and services sold are at a fair price and within Company policy on pricing, selling and collection
  • Maintain sales support and presentations materials in an organized and professional manner
  • Provide Manager with a regular report of activities; complete sales reports on time
  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers and provides information to maximize sales volume
  • Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned; Attend and participate in seminars, professional conferences
  • Maintain knowledge in relevant field at all times

What we need from you:

  • 3 or more years of outside sales experience with an emphasis on prospecting and new customer development in the service industry.
  • Pest management industry experience an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Superior relationship building ability and thoroughness with clients
  • Strong sales skills with knowledge of the complete sales cycle
  • Works well independently
