How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Design and execute a development plan with diverse revenue via capital, major gifts, grants, corporate sponsorships, and events.
  • Collaborate with executive management to establish annual fundraising goals, track metrics, and deliver revenue progress reports to executive leadership.
  • Partner with the Marketing and Communications teams to create uniform, compelling campaigns and impact reports.
  • Actively qualify and manage a personal caseload of 60 to 125 major gift prospects and active donors, focusing heavily on grateful patients, community leaders, and healthcare philanthropists.
  • Utilize and wealth screening tools to identify philanthropic indicators and establish ask levels.
  • Build customized multi-year proposals to secure five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts, matching donor passions with institutional needs (i.e. capital equipment) and naming opportunities.
  • Design tailored recognition initiatives to keep donors informed, engaged, and inspired to renew or upgrade their contributions.
  • Engage eligible legacy prospects in foundational conversations regarding planned and deferred gifts.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:
• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.


What additional preferences we're seeking
  • Complete 8 to 10 direct, face-to-face visits bi-weekly to guide donors across the cultivation continuum.
