The Business Solutions & Growth Development Associate is responsible for driving net-new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new client partnerships. This role combines strategic business development, consultative selling, and relationship building to generate revenue, expand Cramer's market presence, and create long-term growth opportunities for the organization.
Cramer Business Solutions & Growth Development Associates are entrepreneurial, proactive hunters with a passion for building relationships and opening doors. They leverage a deep understanding of client business challenges, industry trends, and Cramer's capabilities to develop meaningful connections and uncover new opportunities. Working closely with internal teams, they lead the pursuit of new business, cultivate a strong pipeline of prospects, and convert opportunities into lasting client partnerships that drive growth for both clients and Cramer.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and help cultivate opportunities with brands not currently engaged with the agency.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships through networking, referrals, industry events, and market research to help generate potential growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Cramer Business Solutions leadership and Account Leadership to support prospecting efforts, pitch development, proposal creation, and account growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to new business presentations, capabilities meetings, RFP responses, and other agency growth activities.
  • Research and qualify prospective opportunities that align with the agency's capabilities, offerings, and strategic objectives.
  • Expand relationships within existing client organizations by connecting with new stakeholders and identifying opportunities to broaden Cramer's engagement.
  • Stay informed on client, industry, and market trends to identify emerging needs and potential opportunities for growth.
  • Communicate potential new business and account expansion opportunities to Business Solutions leadership and support efforts to advance those opportunities.

Requirements
  • Proactive, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for delivering results.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with the curiosity and drive to identify opportunities and support new business efforts.
  • 5+ years of business development experience, with a proven track record of generating new business and growing accounts, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Experience using platforms like HubSpot, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Dealfront for business development
  • Strong communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust and become a valued client partner.
  • Commercially minded, with experience driving sales, business development, account growth, or revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker who can leverage data, insights, and creative problem-solving to address client and business challenges.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Collaborative team player who contributes positively to team success.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Strategy, Creative, Technical, Operations, and Production teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Compensation Range: $60,000-$80,000 + Incentive
This range reflects total target compensation for this position, including base salary and variable pay. Actual compensation may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Cramer offers a comprehensive benefits package as part of its overall total rewards strategy. Compensation ranges are reviewed regularly to reflect market trends.
