Job Description
Flourish Mental Health prides itself in the diversity of our staff. We have been able to reach those populations that have found it difficult to speak up about their mental health due to the stigma it carries. Our hope is to serve our clients, and help them achieve the best versions of themselves.
The therapist we hope to add to our team will collaborate with our medical providers to create and establish a program utilizing the strengths and preferred focus of the therapist to fit the needs of patients. This is a unique opportunity for the therapist to be involved in the development of this next phase of the practice.
In addition, the therapist will:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients appropriately within the standard of care
  • Prescribe therapy to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, family, and primary care provider to better treat the client
  • Discuss treatment plans and patient progress
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records related to all professional services provided
  • Network with doctors, therapists, and facilities in the surrounding area to promote the practice
  • Possibility of leading group therapy
  • Create psychoeducational videos and/or articles to help educate patients about mental health
  • Will have a mixture of insured and private pay clients
Qualifications
  • Must be creative, motivated, innovative, compassionate, and business-minded
  • Master's Degree (Required)
  • LPC or LMFT license (Required)
  • Spanish (Preferred)
