Description
The Marketing & Content Coordinator is responsible for supporting the company's marketing, branding, digital presence, and content creation efforts across multiple subsidiaries. This role will create compelling written and visual content, manage social media activity, maintain Google business accounts, assist with website updates, and help ensure each subsidiary presents a professional, consistent, and accurate brand image.
This position is ideal for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can balance daily marketing execution with long-term brand-building initiatives. The role requires strong writing skills, basic design awareness, comfort with digital platforms, and the ability to manage multiple projects across different business units.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Brand Support
  • Create written content for company subsidiaries, including website copy, social media posts, email campaigns, flyers, brochures, blog-style updates, customer communications, and internal announcements.
  • Develop clear, professional, and brand-consistent messaging tailored to each subsidiary's audience, services, and goals.
  • Assist with editing, proofreading, and improving marketing materials for clarity, accuracy, tone, and consistency.
  • Coordinate with leadership and department managers to gather technical information and convert it into customer-friendly content.
  • Maintain consistency in company voice, visual identity, terminology, and messaging across all marketing channels.

Social Media Management
  • Plan, create, schedule, and publish social media content across company and subsidiary accounts.
  • Maintain a social media content calendar that supports marketing campaigns, industry events, customer education, company updates, and brand awareness.
  • Monitor engagement, comments, messages, and mentions, escalating customer or technical inquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Track basic social media performance and recommend improvements based on engagement, reach, audience response, and campaign goals.
  • Identify opportunities to highlight company services, employees, customer success stories, industry standards, events, and educational content.

Google Account & Online Listing Management
  • Manage and maintain company Google Business Profiles and related Google accounts for assigned subsidiaries.
  • Ensure business information is accurate, including locations, contact details, operating hours, services, website links, photos, and company descriptions.
  • Assist with posting Google updates, uploading photos, monitoring reviews, and flagging review responses that require leadership input.
  • Support basic reporting for Google profile performance, including views, searches, calls, clicks, and customer engagement trends.
  • Help maintain consistency across online listings and directories where company information appears.

Website Updates & Digital Content
  • Assist with routine website updates, including service descriptions, staff information, forms, images, documents, announcements, landing pages, and blog-style content.
  • Coordinate requested website edits with internal stakeholders, external vendors, or web developers as needed.
  • Review website pages for accuracy, broken information, outdated wording, and opportunities to improve clarity or user experience.
  • Support basic search engine optimization by using relevant keywords, clear page titles, helpful descriptions, and organized content.
  • Maintain organized files for website assets, images, logos, brand materials, and marketing documents.

Marketing Coordination & Project Support
  • Support marketing campaigns for multiple subsidiaries, including campaign planning, content development, scheduling, and follow-up.
  • Assist with trade show, conference, webinar, and customer outreach materials as needed.
  • Coordinate marketing requests, project timelines, approvals, and deliverables to keep work organized and moving forward.
  • Help gather performance data from websites, social platforms, email campaigns, and Google tools to support management reporting.
  • Stay current on marketing trends, social media best practices, digital tools, and opportunities to improve company visibility.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in marketing, communications, digital media, content creation, social media management, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Ability to create professional content for technical, industrial, B2B, or service-based businesses.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, content scheduling, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics or similar tools, and basic website content management systems.
  • Basic design sense and ability to work with brand assets, images, graphics, and layout concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different subsidiaries.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, consistency, and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, digital media, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, LinkedIn, or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating content for multiple brands, divisions, or subsidiaries.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, technical services, laboratory services, compliance-based industries, or industrial markets.
  • Basic photography, video editing, or short-form video creation experience.
