Location: We are recruiting a bookkeeper to work in our Utica, NY office.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Bookkeeping for our small business clients.

· Accounting CS and QuickBooks expertise is a plus.

· Ability to work with Excel and Word proficiently.

· Payroll and sales tax.

· Deliver quality and courteous service to clients.

· Delivering quality internal service to Partners and staff; provide general administrative duties and work on projects as needed.

· The position is full-time and must be able to work additional hours during tax season if needed.


Qualifications:

· Associate’s Degree in Administrative Support/Business Management, Accounting or similar is a plus.

· Experience with an accounting firm or similar professional environment preferred.

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment.

· Advanced skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.

· Valid driver’s license required for same day travel at local clients’ offices using a personal vehicle.


Salary $45,000 to $50,000 based on experience.
