QC Tech 1 Audio | Power the Sound Behind the Show.

LMG is seeking a QC Tech 1 Audio to support warehouse operations and ensure professional audio equipment is properly prepared, tested, tracked, and ready for deployment to concerts, conventions, corporate meetings, and live events. This role is responsible for supporting inventory accuracy, quality control, equipment preparation, and warehouse operations to ensure flawless execution for every production.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a QC Tech 1 Audio, you will support warehouse operations by preparing, testing, organizing, and tracking professional audio equipment to ensure gear is event-ready and inventory remains accurate.
  • Audio Inventory Handling – Check audio equipment in and out of inventory while ensuring accurate product returns and warehouse organization.
  • Equipment Preparation & Testing – Pull, stage, set up, test, and prepare professional audio equipment for shipment while following quality standards and operational procedures.
  • Order Accuracy & Documentation – Review reservations, contracts, quotes, manifests, and pull lists to ensure orders are complete and accurate.
  • Manifesting & Asset Tracking – Scan, record, and verify equipment information while maintaining accurate inventory and asset tracking data.
  • Cross-Rental Coordination – Receive, assign, and track cross-rented equipment to ensure accurate fulfillment and return processes.
  • Quality Control & Inspection – Visually inspect equipment for cosmetic or operational concerns, report repair needs, and complete routine cleaning and labeling tasks.
  • Warehouse Operations Support – Assist with loading, unloading, staging, organization, and daily warehouse activities to support production schedules.
  • Team Collaboration – Partner with warehouse, QC, and discipline teams to ensure equipment accuracy, readiness, and successful order fulfillment.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Intermediate knowledge of professional audio equipment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow order documentation and inventory processes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Comfortable loading, unloading, staging, and handling professional AV equipment.
  • Experience with inventory systems, asset tracking, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Live events, AV production, or technical warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, accountability, and teamwork skills.
